Santa Barbara’s world class paragliding hill offers one day lessons for participants 11 years old and up with no prior experience necessary. This is a sport where you get to start having fun right away. Participants will practice ground control by jogging with the paraglider over head getting a feel for the steering controls. After a few practice runs its time to take your first flight under radio supervision. People have been traveling from all over the world to fly at Santa Barbara’s unique paragliding training location for over 20 years. The van will pick you up in the landing zone after each flight, and take you back to the launch at the top of the paragliding bunny hill for multiple flights as you take in the view of the Pacific Ocean and the Channel Islands. This is an intimate group activity where everyone will spend the day together enjoying a truly unique experience. Participants will enjoy the panoramic views during the lunch break and use the experience gained during the morning flying to build their skills for the afternoon flying. Most participants are simply amazed they are able to launch, fly, and land the world’s most evolutionary aircraft many times on their very first day. We encourage you to organize a family outing, bachelor party, team building event, or birthday party for what has to be one of the most unique adventures on the planet.
